Yoshikawa (吉川, Yoshikawa) is a former schoolmate of Ken Kaneki and Hideyoshi Nagachika who visited Class 2 in the same year at their school.[1]

Hideyoshi Nagachika repeatedly teased Ken Kaneki about his - as Hide claimed - crush on Yoshikawa.[2] He asked Kaneki if he would eat her if he was a ghoul, something Kaneki refused to do.[1]
Etymology[]
- The surname Yoshikawa means "lucky, good" (吉) (yoshi) and "river, stream" (川) (kawa).
