Tokyo Ghoul :re Invoke (
The game was free to download, but had in-game purchases available as well. Players choose from a variety of characters and create teams to combat each other and experience Tokyo Ghoul's story. The game features 3D characters and environments and voice acted cutscenes.
On June 5, 2018, :re Invoke officially updated to include a campaign based on Tokyo Ghoul:re.
On August 28, 2018, Bandai Namco of America announced that the game will release in the west in the fall, renamed as Tokyo Ghoul :re Birth.
It was eventually announced by the game's developers that :re Invoke would be shutting down. The game officially shut down on November 26, 2019.
Gameplay[]
Players form teams comprised of various characters and engage in "tap combo" turned-based battles. Gameplay focuses on strategic tapping to create combo attacks that fill a character's skill gauge to use skills seen in the manga. The game includes a story mode based on the plots of Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:re, and a multiplayer mode.
