so on the last page of chapter 42, I noticed those two german sayings on the walls
Behind Kanae "Wer die Wahl hat, hat die Qual." Basically means the bigger the decision is, the harder it is to choose. Or literally "The one who has the choice has the torment."
On the post "Unter den Blinden ist der Einäugige König." Which literally means "Amongst the blind, the one-eyed is king."
