Summary[]
Kurona Yasuhisa contemplates why Suzuya Squad remains calm after she killed Juuzou Suzuya, who lies dead on the floor. Suzuya Squad executes a straight forward attack. They cut Kurona's arms off while she states that the reason they do not care about their squad leader's death is because he was not important to them.
To Kurona's surprise, Suzuya's squad starts laughing and taunting her. Kurona is ambushed and her arms and legs are immediately eviscerated by Juuzou, who is wearing Arata Joker. She recovers, develops a claw-like kagune, and attempts to strike back but is repeatedly lacerated. She flees after having been amputated. Juuzou reassures Keijin Nakarai that it is fine since they have successfully stopped her and that fleeing from an opponent twice guarantees that you cannot defeat them. Suzuya Squad heads to rendezvous with Houji Squad who is engaged with Tatara.
Seidou Takizawa, with tears rushing down his face, chokes Akira Mado, asking her what she wants.
